Avocet House is a luxury 66 bed care home that combines modern design with comfortable living. It is the second care home in Boston for the Tanglewood Group who have been caring for Lincolnshire since 1989.

We are proud of our highly trained team who are selected to join us for their kindness, compassion, and commitment to others. The dedication of our staff has brought national recognition leading to Tanglewood Care Homes winning multiple care awards.

Our Care

Respite Care

This is generally ‘short term’ and usually for people who are looked after by a relative or professional carer at home. Should you require a period of convalescence after being in the hospital, this is also available to you. It is also common to arrange a trial as a temporary resident to evaluate the long-term suitability of the home.

Residential Care

Generally for those who require a lower level of support nor require nursing or specialist care needs. Daily living assistance such as washing and bathing may be included. It is aimed at people who need more assistance than home carers are able to provide.

Dementia Care

Understanding individual needs and ensuring they feel safe and settled are the guiding principles our highly trained team follow in order to support people with dementia. They accomplish this through daily interaction, planned activities/events and whole-hearted care, ensuring everyone receives the quality care that best meets their needs.

Day Care

We understand that moving permanently into a care home is a big step and you might not be ready for that and we recognise the support that you as a carer might require or perhaps you require social interaction with other individuals. This is how we can support you, with our day care service.
