A Royal Occasion at Avocet House

Avocet House Care Home celebrated the coronation over the weekend, the celebrations included watching the coronation, live entertainment, buffet style lunch, cocktails and a party with family and friends.

Freshly baked cakes were ready for residents and visitors to sample throughout the day. Our residents, teams, family, and friends had a fabulous day celebrating.

Tracey Klue Home Manager commented ‘The day couldn’t have gone any better, a lot of thought, time and effort had gone into the preparation and planning of the day. The entire community had a wonderful weekend celebrating. It was so lovely to see the residents and their loved ones enjoying a moment to be remembered throughout history together. Here at Avocet House, we love planning events that bring our residents and their loved ones together, we can’t wait to welcome them all to our next one.’
