Dining with Dignity Training

This week Avocet House team members dining with dignity training.

Dining with dignity training is a course designed for chefs, catering teams, housekeepers, managers, care assistants, activity coordinators or anyone who could be involved in the cooking or preparation and delivery of food to residents at risk. Texture modified diets are for anyone with swallowing difficulties.

Team members thoroughly enjoyed the training. One team member commented ‘Gary was a fantastic trainer who kept our attention throughout.’

Tracey Klue Home Manager commented’ The team thoroughly enjoyed learning with Gary who has worked in numerous care settings. We want to cater for everybody at Avocet House Care Home, Gary helps us in making that achievable.’
